If Messenger opens to a conversation, first tap the “Back” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
If you aren’t logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) and password in the top-right side of the page.
You can also click the gear icon in the upper-left corner of this page and then click Archived Threads in the drop-down menu to view archived messages.
