How to Check the Battery Usage on Your Apple Watch
As we mentioned before, you can’t see which apps use the most battery on your Apple Watch. As of right now, there aren’t any other third-party apps that do this either. That being said, what you can do is see how long you have used your Apple Watch since you last charged it.
Here’s what you need to do:
On your Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown. Tap the Settings icon. Tap General. Scroll all the way down and select Usage. Scroll to the bottom again, and you’ll see your usage time since you last charged your Apple Watch.
How to Check Your Apple Watch’s Battery Health
If you feel like your Apple Watch’s battery doesn’t last as long as it used to, it might be because of battery aging. This is a common process in which the Apple Watch’s battery starts to age over time, reducing its capacity.
You can slow the aging, but there’s no way actually to stop it. This is completely normal for any rechargeable battery, and it happens to all your other devices, your iPhone included.
If you have an older Apple Watch, its battery might not be working at maximum capacity. To check your Apple Watch’s battery health:
Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch. Go to Settings. Scroll down and select Battery. Scroll down and tap Battery Health.
Once there, you can see the maximum capacity percentage that your Apple Watch’s battery is working on.
Make Your Battery Last Longer
As we mentioned, all these reports aren’t as precise as your iPhone’s, but at least you’ll get a better understanding of how well your Apple Watch’s battery is working. The good news is you can always find other ways to save battery on your Apple Watch.
