To change your default emoji on Facebook Messenger’s mobile app:
Open a chat window. This can be with any individual or any group chat. Below Theme, you will see the Emoji option. Click on it. You can now change from the ‘Like’ button to any emoji you like.
Let’s say you chose the duck emoji. Your emoji button should now look like the picture below:

To change your default reaction emoji on Messenger on PC:
Click on the Messenger icon on the top right corner of your screen. Open a chat window. This can also be with any individual or any group chat. Click on the name of the chat window. You will see a list of options for your chat window. Select Emoji. You can now change it to your favorite emoji.
