You won’t be able to use your new celebrity voices for any query you ask Alexa. Only specific answers have been programmed with celebrity voices and you’ll need to ask your device what the new voices can do to learn their capabilities.
Change Alexa’s Voice Using Your Device
Now that your device has a new personality you’ll need to call it by its new name when asking questions. You can still use the “Alexa” wake word if you want to use the default voice on your device. You’ll still hear the default Alexa voice if the question you asked doesn’t have a programmed answer from the celebrity.
Normally, the default Alexa voice refrains from using any expletives or culturally bad words. But your new voice assistant doesn’t have those restraints. You’ll have to decide whether or not you want clean language or explicit language when selecting your celeb voice.
