Whatever your reason, the good news is that it’s very quick and easy to cancel your Kindle Unlimited subscription. Let’s dive in.

Step 1: Head to Your Kindle Unlimited Settings

In order to unsubscribe from your Kindle Unlimited, you need to head over to a section called Manage your Kindle Unlimited Membership.

The quickest way is to head to Account & Lists in the top-right of your screen and, from the drop-down menu, select Kindle Unlimited or Your Kindle Limited, depending on where in the world you’re based.

If you want to cancel more than your just Kindle Unlimited subscription, you can click on Memberships & Subscriptions from the same drop-down menu and view what other subscriptions you have.

To get to your Kindle Unlimited settings from here, go to the Kindle Unlimited section and click on Manage Subscription on the right-hand side. Then, under Advanced controls, click on Go to My Kindle Unlimited Settings.

From the Kindle Unlimited Store

If you’re browsing the Kindle Unlimited store, perhaps looking for some last-minute titles to borrow, simply click on Manage your membership located underneath the rolling banners.

Step 2: Cancel Your Kindle Unlimited Membership

Once you’re at Manage your Kindle Unlimited Membership, click on Cancel Kindle Unlimited Membership, located on the left-hand side under Manage Membership.

You’ll then be sent to a confirmation page where you can either keep or cancel your Kindle Unlimited subscription.

It’s important to note that after you unsubscribe from Kindle Unlimited, you can still keep your borrowed ebooks till the next billing date, after which they’ll be removed from your Kindle library.

You can also view your borrowed books at Manage your Kindle Unlimited Membership, as well as your payment plan, and payment history.

Stay on Top of Your Subscriptions

Although it’s quick and easy for you to cancel Kindle Unlimited, it’s also very easy for it to slip your mind, racking up an unnecessary monthly bill.

It’s always worth it to check up on your subscriptions and find good deals that offer great value for money.
